Summer Kit List
- Walking boots providing ankle support; such as Brasher Boots, Meindl Boots or Scarpa Mantas.
- Thick socks, some people prefer one thick and one thin.
- Walking trousers are ideal, tracksuit bottoms are suitable however, jeans are not.
- Synthetic t-shirt or base layer which will wick away sweat.
- Light weight fleece or jumper to wear whilst walking.
- Waterproof Jacket with hood and waterproof trousers.
- Hat and gloves, a vital piece of kit if the weather takes a turn for the worse.
- Sun glasses and sun cream.
- Drinks bottle 1ltr or more on hot days.
- Camera.
- Head torch
- Personal medication.
- Spare fleece in case things get really cold.
- A rucksack to carry it all in, a 30ltr sack will be more than enough.
