Walking overseas is an excellent way to explore the culture and environment of other countries. Away from the tourist traps that inevitably spring up around the towns and cities, you are able to explore some really spectacular surroundings.
Stone Adventures run walks and trekking holidays in the French Alps, Italian Dolimites, Spanish Pyrenees and Switzerland.
To give you an idea of whats on offer out there below is an example of some of the treks we have worked on in Europe.
Tour du Mont Blanc - A 10 day trek around Europes highest mountain. Passing through France, Italy and Switzerland as we circle Mt Blanc, we sample the different language, landscape, architecture, and cuisine with amazing views of Mt Blanc from every angle.
Haute Route - The famous Haute Route trek links the two biggest alpine centres in Europe, Chamonix and Zermatt. Outstanding landscape make the Haute Route a real mountain experience.
