GPS Day
A day out on the hill with a GPS expert will allow you to really get to grips with your new bit of kit. We will spend the evening before looking at plotting routes for the following day. On the second day we will be following our routes from the previous evening and looking at the other features that most GPS now have. We will also cover the basic navigation skills required for when the batteries run out!
At the end of the day there will be an opportunity to look at downloading the routes and using certain software packages to analyse them.
Having a personal GPS is beneficial although not a necessity for this course.
